        2003 SHEFFIELD'S ON THE MAP
Jeremy Sheffield may have hung up his
white coat as Holby City surgeon Alex Adams, but he hasn't been taking
it easy since.  The actor has just finished filming a role in a romantic
comedy movie, Something Borrowed, in which he stars opposite Debra
Messing, from Will & Grace, and Delmot Mulroney, who was the object of
Julia Roberts' affections in My Best Friend's Wedding.
The film, due out next year, centres
on single girl Kat (Messing) who returns to London from New York to
attend her sister's wedding.  Afraid of confronting her ex-fiancé and
best man, Jeffrey Johnson - played by Jeremy - she hires a male escort,
Nick Mercer (Mulroney) to pose as her new boyfriend.  And surprise,
surprise, Nic and Kat fall in love.  Made by the same producer as the
box office smash My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the film also stars Jack
        Davenport and Sarah Parish.
'I was quite anxious after leaving
Holby', Jeremy tells Insider.  When you've done a role for so long you
can start to feel insecure, so this is great - it gives me a chance to
spread my wings, especially as Jeffrey is so different to Alex.
Jeffrey's not very nice and is a bit of a cad. He broke Kat's heart,
which is why she moved to New York, and it also turns out that he's been
having his wicked way with her sister'.
