Jeremy Sheffield is returning to Holby City as hunky doctor Alex Adams.

Viewers will see him receive a mixed reception from hospital staff, when he returns on February 18.

Dr Adams flies into the hospital via helicopter to perform a double organ transplant.

Jess, in particular, is uncomfortable in his company as she assists with the operation.

But the operation is such a success, he decides to apply for a vacant consultant position.
